About

A word from Founder Gayle Keller

Five plush dolls of girls with different hair colors and styles, wearing colorful dresses, sitting together in a row.

A woman with long brown hair smiling, wearing hoop earrings and a pink blouse, standing in front of a fireplace with a beige wall behind her.

I wrote a book called Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead: Triumphant Tales for Working Women to Overcome Adversity, Fear & Self-Doubt. It became an international bestseller and the idea struck me: to not only serve women in S.T.E.A.M. but also girls in S.T.E.A.M. equipping them with kindness and shining a spotlight on their superhero strengths that will carry them well into adulthood. See, somewhere along the way, girls lose their risk-taking and dim their superpowers. Enter Theodora S.T.E.A.M. Girls – five ethnically future change makers plush doll characters who each represent an industry (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and carry a unique superpower (clarity, courage, confidence, decisiveness, and balance) to tackle the world with style and grace. Afterall, smart is beautiful. Launching Fall 2023.

As a working mother to two toddler girls who left the technology field to launch a toy line, the dolls support all mothers who aim to raise courageously strong girls and equip them with the needed superpowers to shine in male-dominated fields. Girls all over the world will benefit from the positive messaging and what the dolls represent — confidence building superheroes they can relate to and love along with their friends.

Thank You –
Gayle
